Isaiah: 9:6: For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counselor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.

Who is Jesus Christ to you? Many believe that He was just a prophet or just a religious figure who was able to teach that knew the Hebrew Bible. But what about all of His signs and miracles that He performed while on earth casting out daemonic spirits, healing the sick, feeding 5,000 people at a time, turning water into wine, healing a blind man from birth, raising the dead from a tomb and the list goes on. Yet, how could this be if He was just a man, a prophet or a good teacher because he knew the Hebrew bible well? Look at the verse again and really considered the time it was written. Isaiah's long ministry went from 740 to 680 BC and his prophecies were undoubtedly from this period. There is no valid reason to doubt the authenticity of the entire work, or even of any part of it, nor is there any valid evidence that it was written by more than one author, (I will be writing messages later on in this month using Isaiah with more prophecy of Jesus Christ). Therefore, all that he wrote in Isaiah 9:6 came to pass in the form of Jesus Christ just as he prophesied. He was born of a virgin (which I will write about later in this month) and all authority was given unto Him over all governments and kingdoms. All governments and kingdoms will be under his control in-spite of what we see all around the world. I believe Jesus Christ is still in control and all things happen for a reason, we have too just put our trust in Him (read the signs of the times Matthew 24.) He is wonderful and I know if you are a believer wonderful things he has brought into your life and wonderful things has happen to you in Jesus name. When you are in pain or hurt in any kind of way He has been your counselor where He has consoled you, comforted you and gave you the best and greatest advice through His word or he sends you a messenger with a word from Him and extended you care. I know you can track in your life when he has been your mighty God that has protected you, and keep you from harm and danger even before you believed on Him He has protected you because He knew you would accept Him as your Lord and Savior. In other words from time and time again He has spared your life to live another day. While, He has brought you out of something, to take you too another segment in your life to continue to experience Him in a mighty way! He is your everlasting Father because he cares for you and he wants an intimate relationship with you as a Good and loving Father to his child that will last for all eternity to the very end of this age and into eternal life, John 3:16. He has given you peace when you needed it, yes He will if you just trust in Him in the mist of your storms of life; He is your Prince of Peace. He will bring peace into your relationships if you give Him a chance too put your faith and trust in your relationships to allow Him to work in them. You will have a peace of mind and of heart in Jesus Name. Isaiah 9:6 definitely has come to life in the lives of all those who allow Jesus Christ to enter into their lives in Jesus Name…
