Advancing Encouragement By:

Revelation: 3:21: To him that overcomes will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne.
What is the context of this passage of scripture? Jesus is talking to the Church of Laodicea that was lukewarm. Jesus demanded the church to repent, verse 19 and declared to come in to dine with them if they hear His voice and let Him into their lives, verse 20. When any baptized born again believer does exactly that they will overcome, verse 21 and 1John 5:4-5. If you are an overcomer, you reign with Christ, also in Ephesians 2:6 is in the aorist tense from the Greek, meaning there is no reference to past, present or future and in most cases it is rendered in the past tense. Therefore, today my friend you sit with Christ in His throne because you have been raised up with Him and you are in position right now to take dominion in your life conquering whatever you come up against in Jesus name… So do not give up the fight, stand strong in the power of His might to know the trickery of the Devil, Ephesians 6:10 too defeat his every move! Remember you reign with Christ because all things are yours in this world and in the world to come, 1Corinthians 3:21, 22 in Jesus Name…
