PASSION WEEK THURSDAY
John: 17:21: That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me.
On the night when Jesus was betrayed by Judas during the Passover and after He instituted the Lords supper, He prayed for Himself, His apostles, then for all of those in the world who would receive Him. This was a special prayer outside of His prayer in Gethsemane, for His Gethsemane prayer was in preparation of the cross but it was something about this intercessory prayer in preparation for the Church of Jesus Christ or can I say Christianity and His Kingdom established in the world. Specifically verse 21 where Jesus declared and decreed oneness in the Church while being one with God the Father, God the Son, and obviously God the Holy Ghost because of what He had said earlier to His disciples while sitting at the supper table for the Passover in Chapter 14:16-18 and 26. Here the Church of Jesus Christ represents the Father and the Son as One meaning, when the world see the Church of Jesus Christ they see God moving on the earth through His Church. God reigns on earth through His Church is why Jesus Christ prayed for us that the world may believe that Jesus Christ came, lived, died and was resurrected to glory back to the Father and left what He came to do for us to carry it out on the earth. Therefore, when the world can see us doing what Jesus did and living out our faith in love, peace, unity and oneness they would want the same for themselves. The world cannot have what we have without receiving Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. However, it is up to us to convince the world that there is nothing better, greater, mightier and happier than believing in Jesus Christ and living it out in the world. The world must believe that Jesus Christ is Alive and well today ruling and reigning in and through His Church. We have to be people of love, kindness, forgiveness, purity, holiness, righteousness, and with a spirit of toughness, endurance, strength, fortitude, resilience, and fight. We do not give up, we stand tall, we are not wimps, but we represent the mightiest, omnipotent, omniscient, omnipresent, Holy and righteous and God of the Universe! Therefore, people we have a lot to live for and we better start living right now life to the fullest why, because during passion week on the night in which He was betrayed prayed on our behave to be the greatest and mightiest people ever to live on the face of the earth. Today my friend, do yourself a favor and most importantly respect our Lord and Savior and his prayer on your behave to do great things on the earth. Now, it is up to you to live it out by faith. Why, on this same day he told us in Chapter 15:7: If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you. There you go, you have your stamp of approval to go out and conquer the world in Jesus Name…
