Advancing Encouragement By:

Psalm 31:1: In you, O LORD, do I put my trust; let me never be ashamed: deliver me in your righteousness.
The idea here for David, He is having total confidence in Jehovah God Almighty! David would not fall into the spirit of being ashamed that he ever put his total trust, hope, faith and everything he was living for in God. He longed for God to manifest His righteousness in his life so that he would be the example of God’s justice, holiness, peace, love, and doing what is right in the eyes of God and man. David had a lot of enemies and instead of retaliating sword for sword and fist for fist he decided to trust God will deliver him from all his enemies with God’s divine intervention. The psalmist prays that God would interpose in his behalf or intervene with answer to his prayers, and that he would show that He was worthy of the confidence which he had reposed in him, or that He was a God who might be trusted in the time of trial; in other words, that he might not be subjected to the reproach of the wicked for having in his troubles relied upon such a God. Today do not be ashamed of what you are going through by putting your total trust in God without you taking matters into your own hands. Do not worry about what others think about you and what you are going through some people can be down right hateful, wicked and mean, saying believers in God would not go through what you are going through so God must punishing you. Yes, sometimes we bring things on ourselves, people bring things on us, Satan bring things on us or we maybe experiencing the consequences of the things that we done in the past and God is allowing us to go through. Do not believe that God is punishing you if you are going through a trail in your life. Continue to trust God, give Him praise and worship because He is good and His mercy endures forever… That is what Job did in his time of trials, trouble and struggle. Believe that God will get you through any situation you are in and your deliverance is in your vicinity. If you know someone who is going through a trail, lift them up and encourage them that God can strengthen, empower, protect, and give them mercy and grace through it all like He did David and Job. Today you are going to trust and believe God and know that your prayers are answered and you will have a great day in the Lord and for the rest of your days in Jesus name because you trust Him, Amen…
