Psalms: 1:3: And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that brings forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.
The idea behind this passage of scripture is you should not associate yourself with evil or ungodly men. This association is having a companionship with the ungodly that progresses. In the first verse is where the progression starts. To walk in the counsel means to have a running partner a person you hangout with. This is not a casual passing to get to know someone so you can share your faith with them while you are learning how to live as a sinner as it progresses even more. Why, to stand in the way of sinners (habitual practicing of sin) is to; continue to tolerate, undergo, stomach, endure, withstand and sustain your companionship with the sinners (habitual practicing of sin) and ungodly people as a way of life. Then it gets worse you start to sit in the seat of the scornful meaning, you start to disrespect the things of God. Additionally, you are now settled in and comfortable with this type of lifestyle of disrespect to God and what He stands for. You will have no respect for His kingdom, His Church, His leaders and His people. That is why we have to guard ourselves from the poisons of ungodly people by planting ourselves in Gods word living for Him and separating ourselves from the world. By this, you will delight in His word and study to show yourself approved as a way of life. That means you will eat, drink and sleep the word of God and all of His promises being manifested in a mighty and powerful way giving God all of the glory for what He is doing in your life. At That time you will be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, fully nourished and fully supplied with all that you need for your strength and endurance. You will bear fruit of righteousness, holiness, godliness, kindness, gentleness, faithfulness, humbleness, meekness, lowliness, as you grow in your faith. At that point in time fruits of exaltedness, mightiness, and greatness will be yours. Furthermore, from this point on whatsoever you do will prosper in abundance. Today is your day my friend to be prosperous in abundance having success, value and elevated worth in your life abundantly, I declare it in Jesus Name…
