Advancing Encouragement By:
Bishop James Jr. Hairston
Isaiah: 55:1: Ho, every one that thirsteth, come ye to the waters, and he that hath no money; come ye, buy, and eat; yea, come, buy wine and milk without money and without price.
Have you ever been so thirsty that your mouth became parched, dry and scratchy with a feeling of dehydration? Have you ever panted for water? It gets even more desolate, have you ever was so broke that you could not buy anything to eat, not even money for a box of cereal and milk? And for the rich sitting at a fine dine could not afford a bottle of wine or even one glass of wine for you and your significant other. For the rich that would be embarrassing but for the poor a glass of ice tea would have been fine. Now picture yourself in either of these scenarios and think to your self have I ever been so fortunate that I never experienced either of these or at one point in my life I have experienced at least one. Isaiah is promising Christ, calling all believers to faith that we do not need any money for grace, for salvation, for righteousness, for holiness, for sanctification, for satisfaction, for forgiveness, for freedom, for healing, for liberty, for justice, for prosperity and success. The riches of Christ Jesus do not cost you anything and He will supply all of your needs. Jesus Christ said that the water that He gives you shall never thirst but have water that he shall give, be a well of water springing up into everlasting life, John 4:14 and your belly shall flow rivers of living water, 7:38b. In Revelations 3: 18 talks about investing or buying gold from Christ that have been tried in the fire to be rich and with clothes of white raiment covering your nakedness and anointing your eyes so that you can see. Today, what are you worried about, what are you concerned about? Are you concerned about the necessities of life or life in general? Jesus will supply all that you need and then some which is the peace that passes all understanding (Philippians 4:7) and grace, salvation, righteousness, holiness, sanctification, satisfaction, forgiveness, freedom, healing, liberty, justice, prosperity and success. For Paul said who shall separate us from the love of Christ? No one or nothing can ever separate us from the love of Christ, famine, nakedness, peril, necessities, tribulation, distress or persecution shall ever separate us from the Love of Christ. Why, He protects, He covers, provide, heals and delivers us from the things that besets us. He is or necessity and provider of all things and today according as his divine power has given to us all things that pertain to life and godliness (2Peter 1:3) you have everything you need in Jesus Name…
