John: 14:27: Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world gives, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.

The key to this passage of scripture is what Jesus said beforehand. He said in verse 26: But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you. The disciples were about to lose Jesus Christ in the flesh, (13: 36) He was approaching the cross and the disciples did not want to be left alone. Hence, He was leaving something behind which was and is now the Holy Ghost which is our comforter. We will never be without Jesus Christ in our lives and will guide us through whatever it is we may go through. In order to have peace in your life you have to operate in the Spirit of Christ, the Holy Ghost. Jesus said he left His peace with us and He gave it to us, now ask yourself am I at peace with myself and others? If you are worrying or doubting about something right now it is because your heart is troubled and fear has crept in. Normally lack of peace or troubled hearts are because of some form of fear. There is something in your life that you are afraid of admitting, confronting, and dealing with or accepting and it is tearing you up right now or it is slowly approaching in heartache and pain, worry and doubting then comes anxiety or which ever comes first. The bottom line is the bases for any of these affects on your life is because of fear and Jesus said He has sent forth His peace to you so why fear. Not only did he send forth His peace to you He also bestowed and committed His peace to you. This means His peace is a gift therefore it is free and He put you in charge to entrust His peace to you. There is no way you should ever be afraid or have lasting fear not having any peace. Your anxieties, heartaches, pain, worries, doubts or fears should be eradicated from your life right now in Jesus Name. The Holy Ghost will bring into your remembrance right now what Jesus Christ has taught you to empower, encourage, uplift and esteem you to faith, hope and knowing everything will be alright. He said whatever you ask in His name He will do it, verse 14. Today my friend do not be afraid, you can trust God in-spite of what you are going through and not let your heart be troubled about anything in this life. He will get you through the hard times and continue to exalt you through the good times. Today, trust in the LORD with all your heart; and lean not unto your own understanding. 6: In all your ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct your paths (Proverbs 3:5-6) in Jesus Name…
