ADVANCING ENCOURAGEMENT By:
Bishop James Jr. Hairston
2Peter: 1:7: And to godliness brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness charity.
If you want to know how to love then you have to have godliness that comes from your partnership with the divine nature, verse 4. Godly love is what is missing in the world in your society and mine. Would not the world be a better place if more people possessed brotherly kindness that simultaneously empowers you to love like God loves? Yet, many people want to have brotherly kindness and miss out on what makes brotherly kindness operate properly and that is under the anointing of godliness. In addition, the reason why people can say I love you without the act of the true meaning of love is because they do not have godliness that comes from being partners with the divine nature, (read faith and courage and knowledge gets godliness.) To possess godliness when you are partners with Gods Divine Nature you have faith and courage to stand up escaping the corruption of this world through lust that empowers you with the act of knowing how to have self control and the patience to endure whatever it is you are facing that produces godliness in your life! From verse 3 are a series of conjunctions connecting each verse to one another that leads up to this point in verse 7 to have real and true love in your life and it is according to God’s Divine Power he have given unto us everything that pertains to life and godliness, verse 3. Not only that we have exceeding great and precious promises that empowers the divine nature in our lives, verse 4! Which I believe is His word with everything written in it and His Holy Spirit through Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior. After reading knowledge gets godliness will help you to come to the knowledge of godliness in your life and simultaneously you will possess brotherly kindness that is a fraternity of brotherhood in the Church where Jesus said there is no greater love than this that a man lay down his life for his friends, John 15: 13 or when a husband love his wife as Christ loves the Church, Ephesians 5:25, he is laying his life down for his wife. John 15: 13 is true love that is the ultimate test to godliness adding simultaneous brotherly kindness that begot love! Remember, charity in God’s Word is agape, meaning affection or benevolence; specially (plural) a love-feast. This is love that can never be paid back; love that endures and you love without recognition, notoriety, popularity, a pat on the back, without competition, comparison and most importantly you do it even if they do not respond back or give back equal treatment, Charity! Only Godliness begot true love, and this is true love, without godliness you cannot love in Jesus Name…
