Advancing Encouragement By:

Ezekiel: 37:26: Moreover I will make a covenant of peace with them; it shall be an everlasting covenant with them: and I will place them, and multiply them, and will set my sanctuary in the midst of them for evermore.
Why this prophecy is so important to the believer of today is because Israel is in captivity because of their sin and while Israel’s physical freedom’s is being prophesied also the coming of Jesus Christ is being prophesied to give them spiritual freedoms. This spiritual freedom is an eternal peace where the presence of God is always with the people of God, where He will no longer be sought out in the temple but His presence is in the hearts and minds of the people forevermore which is the presence of His sanctuary! You will be free from sin and shame; you will no longer be in bondage to fleshly desires, hopelessness, faithlessness, fears in life and the lack of a peace of mind. To everyone that is searching for peace or a peace of mind it is not the opposite of war or the opposite of your own personal wars that will bring you peace but it is Gods covenant of peace upon His people that brings peace to your life. Just like Israel needing peace in 597 BC, the time of this prophecy was not fully fulfilled until the coming of Christ, verse 22, 24, John 10:16, where He is now our prince of peace and our shepherd that brings serenity and tranquility to our life. In addition, as what is also said in verse 27: My tabernacle also shall be with them: yea, I will be their God, and they shall be my people, He also said in 2Corinthians 6:16 that we are the tabernacle; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people. Now look at the promises of God in verse 22 we will be one nation, verse 23 we will be saved and cleansed, verse 24 we will have one King and one shepherd walking and living by His word, verse 25 we will possess our own land which is our own possessions that is the generation of the Church of Jesus Christ to the very end of the age which is our children’s children. Even as the word of God said in the New Testament in light of this in Acts 2:39: For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call. This is why I believe in the fulfilling of the old prophecies is wrapped up in Jesus Christ and today we have the covenant of peace in our lives no matter what is going on in our lives. Not only that this covenant is because of the relationship that you must have with Christ as He gave you His Spirit where He breathed on you to give you life, (read breathe on me) and life He gave you more abundantly. Last but not least, this covenant of peace has been multiplied to all of those who believes in God and will continue to dwell among us to the very end of the age and may Gods covenant of peace be with you in Jesus Name…
