Advancing Encouragement By:
Bishop James Jr. Hairston
Hebrews: 4:16: Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.
Since the author of Hebrews is uncertain there is one thing that you can hang your hat on as a believer, Jesus Christ sits at the right hand of God on the throne of God to operate on your behave. The Author writing to the Judaic enthuses, the Hebrew people it was paramount that they understood the purpose and position of Christ Jesus operating from the throne of God of the universe. In addition, operating under the old law was no longer needed but only under grace can a believer inter into a relationship with God through Jesus Christ. It was difficult for the Jew to realize that he should renounce the Jewish system. It was easy for him to hold to the outward Mosaic institutions and appointments and to regard them as the substance, and not the shadow. The great design of this epistle is to bring the Jew to the full realization of the relationship between Judaism and Christianity, to make clear that Christ has fulfilled the temporary and provisional institutions of Judaism and that, thereby, He has abrogated them. Under the old law it was not easy to go to God boldly because your sin kept you from approaching Gods throne without having shame or guilt. Hence, Jesus Christ paid the price for us through His shed blood so that we can be worthy of approaching the throne of God with confidence we do not need a high priest of the old we have a high priest of the new Jesus Christ, full of grace and mercy that gives us the right to go to God’s throne. If you received Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, today, it does not matter what your sin is my friend; there is only one sin that cannot be forgiven and that is blaspheming the Holy Spirit. You can go to God right now and ask him for forgiveness, to cleanse you and wash you from all unrighteousness. No work has to be performed in order to receive forgiveness so do not be grieved my friend and receive His grace and mercy right now in Jesus name. Today, you are bold and confident in this because God has raised you up and seated you at Jesus Christ right hand, Eph. 2:6 therefore, you have the right, the will, access, and the admission to the throne room of God right now in the presence of the Lord. Today, you have the help that you need right now to conquer, overcome, destroy, with all authority power and might to deal with your situation whatever it is and be victorious in Jesus Name…
