Advancing Encouragement By:

Psalms: 18:3: I will call upon the LORD, who is worthy to be praised: so shall I be saved from mine enemies.
How many of us have enemies that we have to escape or to deal with from time to time. Our enemies comes from out of no where, sometimes they could be our co-workers, family members, close acquaintances, our boss or people from the streets of our neighborhoods. Enemies have a bad habit of getting on our nerves and sometimes causing havoc in our lives. One of the worse enemies is the storms of life in the physical and spiritual realm. Storms can usually be from personal problems of many kinds or even from a natural disaster. An enemy is anything or anyone trying to keep you from having a peace of mind but wants you to be in turmoil, worried, fearful, anxious, upset, and oppressed, under their control and in conflict with them. Enemies feed off of being in control of your situation because it makes them stronger to feel superior to someone else. In this text are the words of this song in the day that the Lord delivered David from the hand of all his enemies, and from the hand of Saul. David had escapable experiences that all believers need to read about during these times he was able to praise God and to give Him glory in-spite of his situation able to Trust God through it all. David was escaping for his life literally God protected him from the hand of Saul and from his death. In the mist of it all he called upon the Lord Jehovah recognizing He is worthy to be praised through it all knowing that God is in the delivering business from all of his enemies! In the former passage he said this; Psalms: 18:2: The LORD is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my strength, in whom I will trust; my buckler, and the horn of my salvation, and my high tower. This is the God that we serve, love, cherish, honor, respect, adore, and worship. He will never leave you lonely and will always protect you; it is up to you to trust Him. Today is your day my friend that you will have victory over your enemies like David had victory over Saul and all of his enemies. God will fight your battles like He did for David when He had Saul killed not by the hand of David but by the hand someone else to protect David from all harm and danger. God will do the same for you my friend; he can use some other element to take out your enemies not necessarily by death but by some other means to protect you. Be patient my friend victory is yours this day is your day being strong in the Lord and in the power of His might in Jesus name…
