Advancing Encouragement By:
Bishop James Jr. Hairston
Acts: 16:17: The same followed Paul and us, and cried, saying, These men are the servants of the most high God, which show unto us the way of salvation.
Have the enemy ever accused you of doing something wrong when you were actually doing what was right? This woman screamed out like a croaking raven accusing Paul and Silas for preaching the gospel of Jesus Christ. She was not welcoming the Apostles by broadcasting the great work they were doing, no; she was mocking them by pointing them out to make it known what they were doing. She was a fortuneteller or a soothsayer and Paul and Silas was raining on her parade by preaching Jesus Christ crucified and delivering people from sickness and disease, bondage of sin, and demonic spirits in Jesus Name. I believe as true believers in Christ Jesus operating with authority, power, might and dominion we will be a walking rebuke to Satan and all of his imps. Like the Apostles were in these biblical times and we are in like times today, where we have false prophets, soothsayers, fortunetellers, persecutors and enemies of all types coming up against the Church of Jesus Christ. When the true believers come on any scene the enemy should feel threaten like this woman was in the presence of Paul and Silas, verse 16. Two things will either happen, number one they will give you respect and leave you alone or you will have to rebuke them in the name of Jesus, verse 18. I encourage you to live your life in such away that you will be a threat to the enemy and you will have the authority, power, might and dominion over them in the Power of the Holy Ghost to rebuke them were they will have to flee and leave you alone. God will give you favor as well over them that shows you respect where you are able to accomplish what God has called and ordained for you to accomplish and no man would be able to stand in your way, verse 27-29. However, if there is any sign of weakness the enemy will take you apart and send you away fearful, beaten and left defeated, Acts 19: 13-16. In Acts 19: 13-16, the men showed no sign of authority, power or dominion when using Paul as their authority and they were sent away naked and wounded. That is the way the enemy will leave you, naked and wounded feeling helpless. I declare and decree whomever and whoever is reading this message or listening live God will give you the courage to take on your authority, power, might and dominion He has given you in Jesus name and use it to defeat the enemy that has you fearful, doubtful, uncertain, hopeless, or faithless about anything you are going through right now. With that you will crush, eradicate and demolish your enemy defeating him right now giving you the authority and the victory in Jesus Name…
