Advancing Encouragement By:
Bishop James Jr. Hairston
Proverb: 29:18: Where there is no vision, the people perish: but he that keeps the law, happy is he.
Vision in this text is a mental sight, a revelation that you received and contemplated on or a dream that was so vividly clear you can line it up with the Word of God. Visions give you purpose, direction, a path, a course, a progression in life that will lead to development of stronger faith to accomplish the plans and goals God has given you. When you have a vision you know exactly what your purpose is in life, you just have to learn how to live it and to carry it out well to the Glory of God. The Vision in this text does not mean a dream that you had the other night and it is confusing to understand, no this is a vision with clarity of sight, a mental recollection of what God has given you because you have contemplated on it to come up with a plan by the guidance of the Holy Spirit to execute it. Now, what standard do you use to measure this vision of yours to qualify it’s validity in order to pursue it? The Word of God is your standard wherewith your measurement falls. Meaning, without the Word of God as your standard your vision does not have validity. Here is a case and point; you may have a vision to be successful on your job, then read these passages of scriptures; Matthew: 5:41: And whosoever shall compel thee to go a mile, go with him two. Colossians: 3:22: Servants, obey in all things your masters according to the flesh; not with eye service, as men pleaser's; but in singleness of heart, fearing God: 23: And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men; 24: Knowing that of the Lord ye shall receive the reward of the inheritance: for ye serve the Lord Christ. God has given you everything you need for life and godliness so there is a plan for your vision to be successful on your job. Whatever your vision is the qualifying validity is by the Word of God only in Jesus Name… Number one you got to have a vision that God has ordained for you why, it gives you purpose, direction, a path to travel, a course to climb, a progression in life leading you to the developing of a stronger character and faith to accomplish your God given plans and Goals. Number two if you do not have a vision that is lined up with the Word of God, you will be exposed, and uncovered for the attacks of the Devil to defeat and destroy whatever it is you are trying to accomplish. That is what it means to perish, in other words to cast off restraints of protection. Thirdly, when you have a God given vision that is lined up with the Word of God it will bring you true happiness. Why, you will have purpose and a plan for your life in Jesus Name. Today my friend, I know you have a vision with clarity of sight, a mental recollection of what God has given you because you have contemplated on it to come up with a plan by the guidance of the Holy Spirit to execute it. I declare and decree it to be successful in Jesus Name because it is lined up with the Word of God to be prosperous and have good success right now today, He will lead you and guide you into your destiny in Jesus Name…
