Psalms: 107:28: Then they cry unto the LORD in their trouble, and he brings them out of their distresses. 29: He makes the storm calm, so that the waves thereof are still. 30: Then are they glad because they be quiet; so he brings them unto their desired haven.

Have you ever sailed the seas on business arriving to several port cities to pick up goods and services maybe even fine silver, gold, diamonds, rubies, gemstones, and pearls. This is the picture painted here by this psalmist and you can only imagine the wealth and worth of each travel for the sailors to arrive at their desired haven safely and unharmed. Here is an example in the book of Kings when Solomon sent out sailors and servants to do business on the seas to bring wealth back to Israel, 1Kings 9:26-28. Sea merchants were big business and still are unto today that accumulates tons of wealth. The key is in verses 23 and 24 you cannot have a desired haven to accomplish great and mighty things if you are still on the shore. You have to go out into the water where you will see the works of the Lord, and His wonders in the deep. The idea here is how deep is your faith? What are you trying to get accomplished in your life? Like Solomon, you have to take risks in life by faith with a God given plan (your desired haven) to go out on the seas of the raging waters to accomplish your goals. Look at verse 25, God commanded and raised the stormy wind to cause the waves on the sailors’ trip to their desired haven. Are you experiencing a storm right now because you stepped out on faith to accomplish some great things in your life? There is a purpose for that storm that was caused by God that He allowed in your life either through people, circumstances or whatever type of element that is trying to hinder your progress is all in Gods ordained plan for your life. He wants you to depend on Him and not on anyone else why, only God is able to still the storms of life because He is in control. When you call on Him in the name of Jesus Christ He will bring you out of your distresses, verse 28. He will calm the storm so that waves will be still, verse 29. Then you will rejoice and be glad because you made it through the storm and arrived to your desired haven safely by the hand of God. What is your desired Haven? What have God placed on your heart to accomplish for Him? Your desired Haven could be one of many things and each desired haven takes faith to accomplish it. Some desired Havens are for a life time to accomplish and some are an increment that takes one day at a time. Today my friend whatever your desired haven is it is yours to accomplish rather for a life time or incremental great things are in-store for you to accomplish your dreams, your goals and plans you will be successful to arrive to your desired haven I declare and decree it in Jesus Name.
