Proverb: 6:2: Thou art snared with the words of thy mouth; thou art taken with the words of thy mouth. 3: Do this now, my son, deliver thyself, when thou art come into the hand of thy friend; go, humble thyself, and make sure thy friend.

Today, it is time to set yourself free with your mouth. The idea about this passage of scripture is the surety-ship of one person towards another. With the words of thy mouth in making an agreement with someone must be paid in full. Whatever you say will bind you up in a snare captured and in bondage to your agreement or debt. You will be taken like a fish caught in a net and cannot be released until someone sets it free. There is hope for this person who is in debt or in another form of snare. You can go and deliver yourself and set yourself free by humbling yourself and pleading your case urging severely, (figuratively) importune and embolden, and don’t act insolently. Jehovah God gave a perspective of your pleading with the words of your mouth in verse 5: Deliver you as a roe from the hand of the hunter, and as a bird from the hand of the fowler. This is serious business when it comes to stewardship and with the words of your mouth! Your mouth is powerful and can get you into a snare or free you out of a snare. Today, if you are in any kind of snare God can deliver you like a roe also a gazelle out of the hands of a hunter or like the fish analogy, being delivered out of a net and even a bird out the snare of its predator! The key is you have to use your mouth and the words you speak are affective, powerful and mighty and they can carry you a long way. However, you must be lead by the Holy Spirit of God not to speak from your flesh why, you are looking for favor from God not man. When God grants you favor in your situation whatever it is you can be set free. It is Jehovah God whom influences man to whatever His will is for your life. While man is standing back and saying for some reason it has occurred to me that I have to set you free from the snare that you are in! In addition, the Lord can allow man to give into your bosom because of your obedience to Him. If your house is under foreclosure you can get an extension, interest rate reduced, be blessed with more income or be set free from the debt or snare. You can apply that scenario to any situation. It is imperative, that you take this word seriously. There are so many people right now caught in a snare or have been taken because of the words of their mouths. Binding contracts have been made and now in a snare that seems impossible to get out of. This is the whole context of the passage today. Therefore, there is hope for the hopeless, there is faith for the faithless, there is deliverance for the snared, and there is liberty for the taken by the power of the Holy Ghost through the grace and mercy and the anointing of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior to be set free in Jesus name. Why, He came to set the captives free, to give sight to the blind, and to set at liberty to those who are bruised, Luke 4:18b. Your words are powerful and mighty to set you free because of the shed blood of Jesus Christ. Right now today, ask God to deliver you in Jesus name…
