Advancing Encouragement By:

1Peter: 5:7: Casting all your care upon him; for he cares for you.
What are you concerned about right now? What are worried about right now? What are some things in your life that you find difficult to handle and you do not know how to turn it over to the Lord? You may have turned it over to the Lord but you find yourself going back to get it to handle it yourself. Have you literally left your worries, concerns, frustrations, and doubts, things that you cannot handle there at the feet of Jesus Christ and never looked back? If you have glory be to God but if you have not, then it is time to repeatedly say 1Peter:5:7 out loud and memorize it in your spirit so that every time you have any anxieties, worries, or doubts about anything going on in your life you will remember that the Lord cares for you. The verse before says He may exalt you in do time if you humble yourself under the mighty hand of God. There are two things here about what was just said, I want to say something about the Lords care for you and that He may exalt you in due time. I will start with caring for you meaning; the Lord God is over and beyond concerned about you. The word for, literally means excess (beyond) or completeness (through), God cares for you inside and out and all around, every aspect of your life is in His hand, John 10: 28, 29. Understanding, God may exalt you in due time, now what does that mean when God say’s may exalt me? If you do not humble yourself in your situation you will not be exalted by Him! However, you may be exalted by the world or man but not by God, Luke 9: 25. When you are exalted by God it is everlasting in this world and in the world to come but when the world exalts you or man because of your haughtiness you will be abased or humbled by God, Matthew 23:12. Cast all your care, solicitude or anxiety upon Him, Just turn it over to the Lord under His mighty hand and God will elevate you above your situation and all of your endeavors will be awarded to you! What God has for you is for you and no man can change that when you are in His hand secured in Jesus Name…
