The idea to gird up the loins of your mind is to prepare for action, too run or too fight... Cultures with robes or skirts wore girdles underneath them or wore a belt, a sash or a cord around their waist. I like to use a warrior girding up too fight, getting ready for battle. The mind here is in need for mental toughness and strength staying focus on who we are in Christ Jesus and not giving up on our faith. We must be ready day in and day out to put up a good fight winning the battles of the day... Therefore today, you have the mental toughness of a warrior and you are about to defeat every opposition that is coming your way. You will not give up the good fight to the end because Jesus Christ has your back and He knows what you are fighting for giving you the grace and the strength too not give up until He comes again...! Today be strong in the Lord in His mighty power not giving up the fight and you will remain victorious in Jesus name...
