1Timothy: 6:12: Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses.

The idea behind this passage of scripture is do not desire to be rich as a snare with many foolish and hurtful lusts, which drown men in destruction and perdition. Do not give up hope in what our faith is based on and that is we have eternal life. Our faith is not based on the things of this world like riches and wealth but of righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, meekness (verse 11) and laying hold on eternal life. We all have many desires but are careful that our desires are not pertaining to the flesh but unto eternal life. We must be content with what we have, verse 8 but if you are rich in this world, do not be high minded, nor trust in uncertain riches, but in the living God, who gives to us richly all things to enjoy, verse 17. I keep fighting the good fight of faith and I put my trust in God who gives eternal life, for I know that while I am here on earth he will give to me richly all things to enjoy rather rich or poor. He gives me the desires of my heart when I delight myself in Him, Ps 37:4 therefore, I put all my hope and trust in Him who will supply of all my needs according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus, Philippians 4:19. The good thing is it is not a sin to be rich but only to chase after the lustful desires of being rich. For God said in verse 18, That they do good, that they be rich in good works, ready to distribute, willing to communicate; and in 19: Laying up in store for themselves a good foundation against the time to come, that they may lay hold on eternal life. God blesses us to give back to those who are in need so that we can have equality of life, 2Corinthians: 8:13: For I mean not that other men be eased, and ye burdened: 14: But by an equality, that now at this time your abundance may be a supply for their want, that their abundance also may be a supply for your want: that there may be equality: This is a charge to the Church and to the world! Therefore, I keep on fighting the good fight of faith that the Lord will supply me with all that I need and then some so that I can share the wealth in Jesus Name… We are all in this together as believers in Christ Jesus, the Church of the living Christ are to fight the good fight of faith together as one body of Christ having each others back in the Lord. Today my friend desire the good fight of faith to establish the Kingdom of God on earth as a house of refuge as every believer can come and find rest, peace, hope, love, faith, kindness, compassion, assurance, prosperity in all things, and success at whatever your heart so desires to the delighting of the praise and the glory in our Lord and savior Jesus Christ Amen.
