Advancing Encouragement By:

James: 1:5: If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that gives to all men liberally, and upbraided not; and it shall be given him.
The idea behind this text is to be patient in all things trusting God in the joy of the Lord. The hardest thing to do is being patient in the mist of a trial, tribulation or persecution. In addition, God said that you will not be desolate for anything or in lack of anything, verse 4. All of this is while being patient meaning in the Greek to be cheerful (or hopeful) enduring to the end or to persevere. Get this, patience develops Gods’ perfect nature within you, verse 4, meaning you are growing in God’s mental and moral character becoming complete in Him. You cannot be perfect within yourself but only with endurance in the Spirit of God, in His perfect nature by His power can you develop in His perfect nature while going through trials and tribulations. Jesus Christ has already said, you therefore shall be perfect, as you’re heavenly Father is perfect, Matthew 5:48. The blessings from all of this that you will not go lacking in anything, God will take care of all of your wants and needs even if they do not come when you want them to come but only by God’s providence while we have this perfection in Him to persevere. That is why God said to ask Him for this patience because you cannot get it by happenstance only by asking for the wisdom of God in how to develop this patience. In addition, God said He will give it to you; it is a promise from Him that you can have this immeasurable patience through His wisdom. It will just keep coming while you keep asking why; he gives it liberally, bountifully and abundantly. This means it is plentiful and endless. On top of that God said that it is not upbraided meaning in the Greek God is not to defame you, rail you, chide you, taunt you, suffer you, reproach you or to revile you in receiving these great blessings and wisdom from Him and that guarantees you to receive His wisdom that develops’ patience. While this Wisdom develops patience you are developing in Gods’ perfect nature within you, verse 4, meaning you are growing in God’s mental and moral character becoming complete in Him. In addition, God said that you will not be desolate for anything or in lack of anything, verse 4. My friend today is your day to receive the great-unadulterated wisdom of God that it only goes to them that ask without wavering or doubting. You have to believe as if you are already receiving it with power and might in Jesus name. Believe it my friend; believe it and you shall receive it right now, receive you the wisdom of God in Jesus Name…
