Matthew: 5:3: Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
Have you ever seen a man or woman begging on the street or you may know of someone who has been in that situation? This is called being a public mendicant that takes root in a man or woman heart because they lost all hope, will and the ability to do for their self. Have you ever felt hopeless where there is no where else to turn and no one to run to when you are in distress, helplessness, faithlessness, in trouble or in some kind of struggle. Who is it out there that can help me I need help, please come and give me a hand I do not know what else to do, I am running out of time. At this point you feel like giving up and throwing in the towel. Now in the mind of Christ Jesus this is where he wants you to be and he calls it blessed, meaning happy, supremely blest; by extension, fortunate, well off: -- and happier from the word, makarios. Now get this, not in the flesh or in the natural but in the spirit. You see, Jesus Christ wants you to be in a helpless position, in a mendicant position needing to run to someone or turn to someone that can help you because you cannot help yourself, this is from the word, ptochos, and a beggar. When spirit and soul is in this condition it is because without Christ we are nothing and cannot do nothing or be nothing, He is our only hope for survival…! He is our only way out of our situation and there is no other person that can help us but Him! How powerful is that? Is Jesus Christ all that you need to make it in this world? Why, He said for there is the kingdom of heaven, meaning a place of royalty where God abode’s where His throne room is, it is where He rules and reign in this universe. That is our destination that is where we belong, that is our royal domain and nothing in life can keep that from happening or no man can stop it! Now get this, this is all in the spiritual realm Jesus is talking in the third person singular present indicative of he (she or it) this is from the word is. For theirs is also meaning they are belong to the kingdom of heaven or I exist in the kingdom of heaven from the word, esti. Wow! Do you know what all of this mean, by you throwing yourself at the mercy seat of Christ at his feet as a public mendicant in the spirit (prayer of supplication of total dependency) that will catapult you into your blessings? Depending solely on Christ gives you royalty like a Kings child that will give you authority, power, dominion, rule, sovereign leadership and influence under the guidance and direction of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Today, you are able to destroy all of your enemies in Jesus name. Man cannot touch you in this position while you are in the spirit on your knees’ in prayer God catapults you into the realm or sphere of victory over your problems, situations or circumstances for He is bigger than all of them put together. You have the influence, favor and victory, you are royalty a Kings child, and you are where He is in the spirit! Believe it my friend, Jesus Christ said it and you can believe it. Now go live out your victorious day and be blessed in Jesus Name…
