John: 1:12: But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:

The idea here is receiving Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. You have to accept Him into your heart mind and soul. You have to accept who He is from verses 1-11, He was with God and Is God from the beginning and created everything giving life to all. He came to shine His light in this world that is filled with darkness and you must receive that light into your life that will reveal all of your short comings, frailties, sins and wickedness. He will eradicate the darkness within you, replace it with His light and give you power to become the sons of God. Why, because you believed on His name received and accepted Him into your life. Now that you have received and accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior you have the power to become a son of God. To become something in this text is to come into being or to be converted over to a son of God. The key is in the power to be converted to a son of God. Meaning this is a supernatural transformation why, power from the word exousia (click on the link exousia to read my blog exousia power) is superhuman, a force, with authority of a potentate that has delegated influence of authority, jurisdiction, liberty, power, right, and strength to operate as a son of God. What does all of this mean? This power is not of this world it comes from God and it is supernatural with a superhuman force in great authority operating outside of the human jurisdiction with liberty, the power of the Holy Spirit and His right in God’s mighty strength to defeat the darkness that we live in. This darkness is Satan’s realm where he also operates with exousia power in the supernatural yet, this power is evil and it wants to destroy everything God created especially man. That is why God has given us the power and the right to become the sons of God so that we can destroy the work of the Devil to save as many lives as possible to all of those that believe on Jesus Christ. Today, if you are a believer you have the power to operate outside the human jurisdiction into the spiritual realm where the battles of life are fought, Ephesians 6: 12 tell us that. You have the power to defeat Satan where he is and eradicate him out of your life to destroy every evil work that tries to come upon you. Remember you are the light of the world shinning in darkness and light eliminates darkness every time it appears and Satan cannot win. What is it that you need power over? What jurisdiction you need to come out of to operate above it in order to defeat it? You have the Exousia Power to defeat anything that is holding you back from what God is calling you to do as the light of the world… Today my friend, go show the world your light as a son of God and accomplish what it is you need to accomplish to the Glory of God in Jesus Name…
