PASSION WEEK TUESDAY
Matthew: 21:21: Jesus answered and said unto them, Verily I say unto you, If ye have faith, and doubt not, ye shall not only do this which is done to the fig tree, but also if ye shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; it shall be done. 22: And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive.
Many things took place on Tuesday including many parables. This day started with cursing’s, to faith, praying, believing and receiving, there were warnings, foretelling of the destruction of the temple, the signs of his coming judgment, more parables and then Judas makes the deal to betray our Lord and Savior. Wow, what a power packed day and that was not all that happened. I chose for this day to focus on moving mountains, increasing our faith, praying in faith believing that whatever we ask in Jesus Name we shall receive. However, I also believe in the asking should always be according to His will because we have to be very careful of what we ask for. What happened in this scene, Jesus had cursed a fig tree and the disciples marveled recognizing that the leaves had started to wither away. Jesus Christ confirmed His explanation before He told them what it meant to curse the fig. Jesus said ‘Verily’, meaning ‘so be it or amen’ (amen being the original word and meaning) where he was confirming what He was about to say. He said if you have faith and don’t doubt you will not only be able to do the same thing but in addition be able to move mountains into the sea! The Lord said it shall be done! This day of Passion Week started out with faith, prayer, believing and receiving. How awesome was that the disciples arisen their day in faith knowing whatsoever you ask in prayer, believing, you shall receive. I believe the disciples needed to witness the cursing of the fig tree in preparation of Jesus going to the cross. Jesus Christ showed His power over creation to either live or die and that power only He possessed because He came from the Father. Then Jesus in-turn told the disciples you can do the same if you have faith and not doubt. Jesus Christ granted this promise to every believer operating on faith that your prayers under the anointing of Jesus Christ by the power of believing will be manifested unto you. Only through Christ Jesus can you operate on such great faith, the question is do you have it? Today my friend, you can operate on this great faith if you do not doubt God, meaning you can not have one slither of doubt on your mind when you are praying for something. You cannot even slip a centimeter when you pray but to stay focus on the Power of God and what He has granted to you operating on faith believing and receiving in Jesus Name… Today is a day of believing and receiving and trusting in God for all he has in store for you in Jesus Name…
