THE LORD TEACHES US HOW TO PRAY – HE PROTECTS US

M't:6:13: And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, forever. Amen.

After being forgiven of our sins we are still vulnerable to sin, to wickedness and the evil in the world by the influence of the devil. Therefore we need protection from our Father in Heaven as we addressed Him in our intimate relationship with Him.

“And lead us not into temptation” is in the form of protection; for we know the evil and sin we are up against in the world therefore... Continue Reading
HOSANNA MY DELIVERER

MATTHEW 21:8-11: And a very great multitude spread their garments in the way; others cut down branches from the trees, and strawed them in the way. 9: And the multitudes that went before, and that followed, cried, saying, Hosanna to the Son of David: Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord; Hosanna in the highest. 10: And when he was come into Jerusalem, all the city was moved, saying, Who is this? 11: And the multitude said, This is Jesus the prophet of Nazareth of Galilee.

When you hear the words Hosanna my deliverer the first thing you think about is Palm Sunday which is the Sunday before the resurrection... Continue Reading...

OUT OF THE FOUR WALLS

Matthew 28:19: Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:

This passage of scripture is known as the Great Commission. This was given to His disciples after His resurrection, the Lord's mandate to all those who follow Him, “His church!” We are to make disciples as we go meaning, to share our faith and to teach people what it means to be a follower of Christ.
A disciple is a pupil of Christ, to follow His ways and teachings, to sit at His feet and to be learned by Him and of Him. The passage of scripture is not for the theologians of the world and the scholars of the Church only but it is for everyone who wants to learn of Christ!
In other words, don't be afraid to let... Continue Reading

OUT OF THE FOUR WALLS – GET RE-ESTABLISHED WITH THE GOSPEL…

Matthew: 8:20: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

Here is a quick refresh. This passage of scripture is known as the Great Commission. This was given to His disciples after His resurrection, the Lord’s mandate to all those who follow Him, “His church!” We are to make disciples as we go, meaning to share our faith and to teach people what it means to be a follower of Christ. The first part to this great commission can be scary to many people when it comes to sharing your faith for the purpose of making disciples. In the first lesson I said let your life be your teacher and how God has changed you can be your teacher.
But get this, making disciples are translated into… Continue Reading...
